HTC Desire V vs Samsung Galaxy S Advance

HTC Desire V and Samsung Galaxy S Advance Specifications Comparison
HTC Desire V uses Android OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, while Samsung Galaxy S Advance is still using Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. But for performance, Samsung Galaxy S Advance is better because it uses dual-core Cortex A9 1GHz processor, while HTC Desire V only uses single-core Cortex A5 1GHz processor. Samsung Galaxy S Advance is  also equipped with Mali-400 GPU and 768MB RAM, and HTC Desire V is equipped with Adreno 200 GPU and 512MB RAM.

Samsung Galaxy S Advance has two times larger internal memory capacity than HTC's Desire V. Samsung Galaxy S Advance has 8GB internal memory capacity, while HTC Desire V only has 4GB internal memory capacity.

Both HTC Desire V and Samsung Galaxy S Advance have 4-inch touch screen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution (233p). They are equipped with 5 MP camera, but the Samsung Galaxy S Advance camera has the ability to record 720p HD video. Samsung Galaxy S Advance is also equipped with 1.3 MP front camera.

HTC Desire V is a smartphone with dual SIM GSM + GSM, while Samsung Galaxy S Advance only has one SIM card slot. For other connectivity features, both equipped with features such as HSDPA and HSUPA network, Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, and microUSB port.

From the hardware specs we prefer Samsung Galaxy S Advance, because the device is using dual core processor and has front camera. But if you want a dual SIM Android ICS smartphone you can choose HTC Desire V.

Both HTC Desire VC and Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 use different versions of Android OS. HTC Desire VC is using OS Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, while Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is still using Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

But for performance, Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is better because the smartphone is powered by 800MHz dual core processor, Mali-400 GPU and 768MB RAM.
