HTC One S and HTC One X are two high end Android smartphones from HTC. Which one should you choose?
Both HTC One S and HTC One X use Android OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense look 4 interface. But for performance, HTC One X is faster because it uses quad-core 1.5GHz processor with 1GB RAM. While HTC One S uses dual core 1.5GHz processor.
HTC One X also has 2 times larger internal memory capacity that is 32GB, while HTC One V only has 16GB internal memory. Both are not equipped with microSD slot.
HTC One X comes with larger touch screen than One V. HTC One X uses 4.7 inches LCD2 Super IPS touch screen with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution (312ppi) and is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass. While HTC One S uses 4.3 inches Super AMOLED screen with 540 x 960 pixels resolution (256ppi) and is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass.
HTC One S and HTC One X are equipped with powerful 8 MP camera that has the ability to record 1080p HD video. Both are equipped with front camera, HTC One S is equipped with VGA camera, while HTC One X is equipped with 1.3 MP camera.
Both smartphones are equipped with connectivity features like 3G network with HSDPA and HSUPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n with DLNA and Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and microUSB port. HTC One X is also equipped with NFC. For battery capacity, HTC One X is equipped with 1800mAh battery capacity, while HTC One S is equipped with 1650mAh battery capacity.
HTC One X offers better specs especially on the processor used, larger screen with higher resolution, and larger internal memory capacity. The price is also much more expensive than HTC One S.
But, If dual-core processor is enough for you, you can choose HTC One S.
