Nokia 808 PureView and Samsung Galaxy S III is the latest flagship smartphone from the two giant smartphone manufacturer. Both offer high-end features, which is superior between the two?

Both Nokia 808 PureView and Samsung Galaxy S III use different operating systems. Nokia 808 PureView uses OS Symbian Belle, while Samsung Galaxy S III uses Android OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

About performance, Nokia 808 PureView powered by ARM 11 1GHz processor and 512MB RAM, while Samsung Galaxy S III is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core processor, Mali-400 GPU and 1GB RAM. Nokia 808 PureView has 1GB ROM and 16GB internal memory plus microSD slot up to 32GB, while Samsung Galaxy S III has 16GB internal memory capacity plus microSD slot up to 64GB.

Samsung Galaxy S III has larger screen size than Nokia 808 PureView. Samsung Galaxy S III uses 4.8 inches Super AMOLED screen with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution (306ppi), and is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 2. While Nokia 808 PureView uses 4-inch AMOLED screen with 360 x 640 pixels resolution (184ppi) and is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass plus Nokia ClearBlack technology support.

Samsung Galaxy S III comes with powerful 8 MP camera with the ability to take 8 pictures in a row with just one click and also capable to recording 1080p HD video. The smartphone is also equipped with 1.9 MP front camera that has the ability to record 720p HD video. While Nokia 808 PureView comes with 41 MP camera, and this is the main feature of this smartphone. Nokia 808 PureView is also equipped with VGA front camera.

For connectivity features, Samsung Galaxy S III and Nokia 808 PureView come with features like 3G network with HSDPA and HSUPA support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB port with USB support on-the-go. As for the power, Samsung Galaxy S III comes with 2100mAh battery capacity, and PureView Nokia 808 comes with 1400mAh battery capacity.

In terms of performance and applications, Samsung Galaxy S III is far superior than Nokia 808 PureView, and for the price tag Samsung Galaxy S III is also higher. But if you want a smartphone with super camera you can choose Nokia 808 smartphone.
