Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus and Sony Xperia U are two Android smartphones. Both Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus and Sony Xperia U use Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
For performance, Sony Xperia U is better because it is powered by 1GHz dual core processor and equipped with Mali 400 MP GPU and 512MB RAM. While Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus is powered by single core 1GHz processor and comes with Adreno 200 GPU and 512MB RAM.
Sony Xperia U also has larger internal memory capacity than Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus (8GB vs 3GB). Unfortunately Sony Xperia U is not equipped with external memory slot, while Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus is equipped with microSD slot up to 32GB.
Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus has slightly larger touch screen measuring 3.65 inches with 320 x 480 pixels resolution (158 ppi). Despite having smaller screen but the Sony Xperia U display is better. Sony Xperia uses 3.5-inch touch screen with 480 x 854 pixels resolution (280 ppi) plus it is armored with Sony Mobile BRAVIA technology.
Both smartphones are equipped with powerful 5 MP camera. Sony Xperia U camera is better because it has the ability to record 720p HD video. And Sony Xperia U is also equipped with VGA front camera, while Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus is not equipped with front camera.
For power capacity, Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus comes with 1300mAh battery capacity, while Sony Xperia U is equipped with 1320mAh battery capacity.
Over all, We prefer Sony Xperia U because we can already get dual core Android smartphone with better features.
