Both Sony Xperia P and Nokia Lumia 800 use different operating systems. Sony Xperia P uses Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS (Sony will provide an Android 4.0 ICS update), while Nokia Lumia 800 uses Windows Phone 7.5 OS.
Sony Xperia P has better performance because the device is powered by 1GHz dual core processor, Mali 400 MP GPU and 1GB RAM.
