LG Optimus 3D was first introduced in February 2011 and Motorola Atrix 2 was introduced in October 2011.

LG Optimus 3D has heavier weight than Motorola Atrix 2 (168 grams vs 147 grams). LG Optimus 3D comes with 4.3 inches screen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution and it is support 3D technology. While Motorola Atrix 2 comes with 4.3 inches touch screen with 540 x 960 pixels resolution.

LG Optimus 3D uses Android 2.2 Froyo while LG uses Android 2.3 Gingerbread. LG Optimus 3D is powered by dual-core processor TI OMAP 4 1GHz and Motorola Atrix 2 is supported by dual-core 1GHz processor.

Motorola Atrix 2 has 8 megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording capability, while LG Optimus 3D comes with 5 megapixel camera with 3D technology support , the camera is able to take pictures and record 3D video. Both are also equipped with front camera.

LG Optimus 3D and Motorola Atrix 2 have 8GB internal memory capacity, and are equipped with microSD slot up to 32GB.

LG Optimus 3D comes with 3D support that is still rarely found on smartphone products. LG Optimus 3D is still a better choice for 1GHz dual-core Android smartphone.
