Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and LG Optimus L7 use different versions of the Android OS. Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is still using Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, while LG Optimus L7 already using OS Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
But for performance, Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is better because it uses dual-core processor. Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 is powered by dual core 800MHz processor, Mali-400 GPU and 512MB RAM. While LG Optimus L7 is powered by 1GHz single-core processor, Adreno 200 GPU and 512MB RAM.
LG Optimus L7 comes with bigger and stronger touch screen. LG Optimus L7 has 4.3 inches touch screen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution (217ppi) and is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass. While Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 has 3.8 inches touch screen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution (246ppi).
Both Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and LG Optimus L7 have 4GB internal memory plus microSD slot up to 32GB.
Both smartphones are equipped with 5 MP camera, and both are equipped with front camera.
For connectivity features, Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and LG Optimus L7 are equipped with HSDPA network, Wi-Fi with DLNA and Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, and microUSB port. We prefer Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 because it offers much better performance. But if you want ICS Android smartphone and larger touch screen you can choose LG Optimus L7 .
